Pizza Cook
The Pizza Cook will be responsible for preparing pizzas, from dough and sauce preparation to topping selection and oven cooking. The Pizza Cook is expected to assist in production and execution of events and functions both within Suq tal-Belt and possible Outside catering events that may happen from time to time.
1. Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings in accordance to the menu.
2. Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times.
3. Preparing high-quality pizzas according to menu.
4. Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed.
5. Cleaning workstations.
6. Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
7. Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly.
8. Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner.
9. Staying updated on new menu items.
10. Reports any faults in equipment through the proper channels and follows up on them accordingly.
11. Ensures proper rotation, storage temperatures, and proper storing procedures are observed.
12. Communicates with provisions to ensure successful coordination of requisitioning, and return to stocks, including variances, spoilage, and excess inventories.
13. Ensures recipes are constantly updated to reflect changes created by availability or direction from Head Chef
14. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
