Job Overview

The Accounts Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely entry of business data across multiple systems. This position supports key departments such as procurement, inventory, finance, and sales by maintaining reliable data records essential for day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making.

Job Details

• Accurately input, update, and maintain data in internal systems (ERP, inventory, and financial systems)
• Process supplier invoices
• Issue debtor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verify data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
• Reconcile discrepancies and liaise with relevant departments to resolve issues
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Generate routine reports for management and operational teams
• Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company data
• Assist with system audits and data cleansing activities
• Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and deadlines
• Perform any additional tasks and responsibilities as requested by the Financial Controller.
  
  

What Makes You A Strong Candidate:

• Proven experience in data entry, administration, or a similar role
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Basic understanding of accounting processes is a plus
• “O” level / Level 3 standard of education
