Position Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to join our team in Malta as Airport Greeters. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for arriving international students, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and guided throughout their arrival experience.

In addition to airport arrival duties, the role also includes occasional student welfare support during the summer season, particularly in emergency situations where students may require assistance outside school hours.

Main Responsibilities – Airport Greeter

  • Greeting students and offering assistance upon arrival at the airport
  • Ensuring all arriving students are met, assisted, and directed appropriately
  • Communicating with the transfer company used by EF regarding arrivals and departures
  • Checking and updating arrival and departure lists throughout each shift
  • Coordinating with the Host Family and Residence Teams regarding arrivals, no-shows, or any issues

Providing students with important information, including:

  • Accommodation details, including host family or residence information
  • First day of school (intake) details: date, time, location, and what to bring
  • Ensuring students meet their designated driver and verifying all travel details
  • Assisting students with lost luggage or any airport-related concerns
  • Reporting to the Student Services Manager at the end of each shift

Additional Responsibilities - Welfare Support

Welfare shifts are shared among the team on a rotating basis. During standby hours, staff may be contacted through the emergency line to assist students requiring support, including hospital or clinic visits.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accompanying students, particularly minors, to medical appointments or emergency visits
  • Supporting and guiding students throughout the process
  • Providing reassurance and assistance when needed
  • Completing and submitting a brief report after each welfare case

Availability & Shifts

We are looking for team members who are available to work on a standby basis. Ideally, coverage is required Monday through Sunday across different shifts

  • Polite, kind, and customer-focused
  • Flexible availability
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset
