Assistant Restaurant Manager
Cafe' Cuba restaurant, situated in Qormi, Malta is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Restaurant Manager to form part of their team on a full-time basis.
The following attributes and characteristics are necessary for the post:
- Previous experience in a similar post in other restaurants;
- Have a passion for food and drink;
- Be a natural leader and able to motivate staff, leading by example;
- Ideally fluent in English, possibly even Maltese.
All applicants need to be currently living in Malta, should have clean Police conduct, and non – EU nationals hold a valid work permit.
Responsibilities
Responsible for running the Restaurant by maintaining optimum food and beverage service, productivity, and manning levels.
Ensures that harmony exists between the kitchen and the service staff
Manage all staff effectively, and carry out constant and consistent on the job training in order to maximize on customer satisfaction
Delegates and assigns duties to all staff as needed
Follows up daily on food quality, service, and standards
Education and requirements
Certification from the I.T.S. or a similar catering/bartending school and/or experience commensurate with the post will be considered an asset.
