Associate Lawyer

On behalf of our client, an innovative boutique law firm, we are looking for an Associate Lawyer (Litigation), to be based at their premises in Limassol, Cyprus.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acts as a member of the Litigation Department, assisting with a diverse international clientele across a broad range of civil, corporate, commercial, financial fraud, and criminal cases
• Conducts legal research and rafts legal opinions
• Prepares pleadings, applications, and court addresses
• Attends court appearances and hearings
• Attends meetings and liaises with clients under supervision
• Responds to all communications in a timely and professional manner
• Is an active team player, participates in knowledge-sharing initiatives, and contributes to team-building and firm development activities
• Supports and guides junior legal apprentices, including assisting in their training
• Reports to Senior Associate Lawyers and Partners of the Department

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law with Honours
• Master’s degree in Law/ Postgraduate qualification/ BVC/ LPC
• Over 5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation
• Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken
• Proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently
• Ability to take initiative and deliver client-focused solutions with confidence
• Excellent negotiation skills and a commitment to professional integrity
• Team-oriented with a respectful and collaborative spirit
