Role Overview

Our Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Junior to join its expanding audit team. This role involves supporting Audit Seniors in planning and conducting audit assignments across a variety of industries. It presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to develop their career within a progressive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Execution Support: Assist Audit Seniors with the planning, fieldwork, and completion stages of audit engagements.
Preparation of Working Papers: Compile and organise documentation to substantiate audit procedures and findings.
Audit Testing: Perform audit tests in line with established methodologies and under supervision.
Issue Identification: Highlight potential audit issues and escalate them appropriately to Audit Seniors.
Client Interaction: Support the building and maintenance of effective, professional relationships with clients across various sectors.

Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes

Education: A-Levels or equivalent qualifications in accounting, finance, or related fields. Actively pursuing ACCA, M.Accty, or an equivalent professional qualification.
Experience: Previous experience in an audit or accounting environment would be considered an asset but is not essential.
Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required to succeed in this role. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
Communication Skills: Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Interpersonal Skills: A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards.
Organisation: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Self-Motivated: Eagerness to learn and a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
Problem-Solving: Critical thinking with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
