Audit Manager

Salary range: Salary offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

Job details: HLB Malta is a long-established audit, accounts, tax and advisory firm with

offices in Lija, Malta. Our client portfolio is constantly expanding and thus, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join our ever-growing team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate must be in possession of:

• Masters in Accounts, ACA/CA/ACCA or an equivalent international qualification;
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience at audit manager level;
• Proven experience in delivering external audit and assurance engagements;
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP;
• Expertise in Compliance with an understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Excellent grasp of risk and quality and risk management procedures;
• Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and respect to fellow employees and clients alike;

The selected candidate will report to the Audit Partner.

The chosen candidate will be working on a range of tasks, which will include:

• Ensuring that audit assignments are completed in a timely and efficient manner;
• Supervise, guide, and review the work performed by other members within the team.
