Audit Senior

Salary range: Salary offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

HLB Malta is a long-established audit, accounts, tax and advisory firm with offices in Lija, Malta. Our client portfolio is constantly expanding and thus, we are seeking to recruit an Accountant to join our ever-growing team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate should be / have:

• In possession or in the course of obtaining an Internationally recognised profession accounting qualification: University degree, ACCA or ACA.
• Knowledge of IFRS as adopted by the EU & GAPSME is essential together with strong communication skills both written and spoken in English.
• At least 1 year experience in auditing.

The selected candidate will report to the Audit Director.

The chosen candidate will be working on a range of tasks, which will include:

• Assisting managers with the planning of audits, including budgeting, staffing planning and participation in audit planning meetings;
• Coordinating the audit engagement from planning to completion within the stipulated time frame and with the required expected level of quality;
• Developing strong working relationships with the client and the client staff involved; and
• Delegating to junior team members, provide on the job training and provide feedback.
