Due to our continued growth and expansion, IGA Group Ltd is seeking to recruit a financial auditor to join our Malta office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional seeking exposure to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients across various industries, including the iGaming sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform statutory audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Prepare and review audit working papers and audit files.
- Examine financial statements prepared under IFRS and GAPSME.
- Assess internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain audit evidence and resolve audit queries.
- Assist in planning, executing, and completing audit engagements within agreed deadlines.
- Draft management letters and communicate audit findings to management.
- Work closely with senior management and partners throughout audit assignments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, auditing, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified ACCA graduate or equivalent accounting qualification such as Bachelor of Accountancy.
- Previous experience in external audit (1–3 years or more preferred) in difference industries, especially in the iGaming industry, will be considered as an asset.
- The person must be in a Certified Public Auditor within the Accountancy Board in Malta.
- Sound knowledge of IFRS, GAPSME, and International Standards on Auditing.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with audit software will be considered an advantage.
