Back of House Receiving Supervisor - New Opening

We are currently looking a Back of House Receiving Supervisor to join our team for the upcoming opening of the new restaurants.

The Job

  • Receive and verify deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring they match purchase orders in quantity and quality.
  • Maintain and update inventory records to keep accurate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to minimize waste and prevent losses.
  • Work closely with the Bar Manager, Sommelier & kitchen team for orders & coordinate with suppliers.
  • Support cost control by monitoring stock usage and reporting discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene standards in storage and handling.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory status, stock rotation, and cost control.
  • Ensure dishes are Costed on behalf of the Executive Chef & input into the System
  • Actively mange the Weekly & Monthly food & drink cost for the site
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock issues.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory management, or stock control within a restaurant environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with online inventory systems, Microsoft Office
  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment managing multiple priorities.
