Bartender

Are you passionate about hospitality, mixology, and delivering exceptional customer experiences? We're looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar, ensuring excellent service standards, maintaining product quality, and contributing to an outstanding guest experience.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional bar service while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.
  • Prepare and serve beverages efficiently, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Promote food and beverage offerings to maximise sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Upsell products and recommend drinks based on guests' preferences.
  • Attend daily pre-shift briefings to stay informed about occupancy levels, promotions, menu updates, and operational priorities.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar area throughout each shift.
  • Follow opening, closing, cashiering, and stock control procedures in line with company SOPs.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and HACCP standards.
  • Handle guest enquiries and resolve any concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Work closely with management and colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Stay up to date with current beverage trends and contribute ideas to enhance the bar offering.
  • Carry out additional duties as required to support business operations.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, mixology, beverages, and bar equipment.
  • A sales-driven attitude with the ability to confidently upsell.
  • Experience using POS systems and handling cash accurately.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Good judgement when serving alcohol responsibly, including checking identification when required.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift stock when necessary.
  • A positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong team spirit.
