We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Bartender – Banqueting Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team.

The Role:

As a Bartender – Banqueting Attendant, you will be responsible for providing professional beverage service within our lobby bar and supporting banquet, conference and event operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent product knowledge, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes, quality standards, and company procedures.
Deliver exceptional guest service within the lobby bar, ensuring every guest receives a welcoming, professional, and memorable experience.
Prepare, serve, and present beverages efficiently during conferences, banquets, weddings, private functions, and other events.
Set up, replenish, operate, and dismantle temporary event bars in accordance with operational requirements.
Recommend cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and other beverages based on guest preferences.
Maintain excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and beverage menus.
Ensure all drinks are prepared consistently and presented to company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar, equipment, glassware, and storage areas at all times.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and process guest transactions in line with company procedures.
Handle cash responsibly and reconcile transactions where required.
Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, rotate stock appropriately, and report shortages to management.
Assist with inventory counts and stock control procedures.
Carry out opening and closing duties, ensuring all workstations are fully prepared for service.
Follow all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene procedures, and licensing requirements.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Food & Beverage department to ensure smooth daily operations.
Support banqueting and events teams in delivering efficient beverage service during high-volume functions.
Respond professionally and promptly to guest requests, feedback, and complaints, escalating issues where necessary.
Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Salini Resort.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Bartender within the hospitality industry.
Previous hotel experience will be considered an asset.
Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage preparation techniques.
Good command of the English language.
Valid Food Handling certification.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance with excellent attention to detail.
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
