

CAMO Engineer

As CAMO Engineer, you will ensure the airworthiness of assigned fleet through compliance with maintenance programs and documentation of maintenance records. Additionally, ensure the implementation and control of possible improvements to increase the reliability and effectiveness of the Maintenance Program.
CAMO Engineer reports to the Nominated Person Continuing Airworthiness (NPCA).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Support & Documentation
- Assist the maintenance center in maintenance tasks and interpretation of maintenance manuals
- Develop work orders as deemed appropriate
Airworthiness Directives Management
- Manage all Airworthiness Directives (AD) and related documents (SB, Non-Mandatory)
- Develop corresponding Engineering orders for implementation
Technical Oversight
- Supervise Work Orders (WO), Engineering Changes (E/C), and Technical Changes (T/C)
- Conduct technical records audits
OEM Liaison: Maintain direct communication and coordination with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
Major Maintenance Oversight: Represent and manage during major reviews and/or modifications on aircraft at contracted Part 145 facilities
Aircraft Management Support: Collaborate with the Airworthiness Manager in aircraft acceptance and redelivery management under Engineering Department oversight
Fleet Standardization
- Standardize components across fleets when required
- Advise the Airworthiness Manager regarding applicability of alternative components and parts interchangeability
Technical Reporting & Warranty Claims
- Advise the Airworthiness Manager with technical reports for warranty claim cases
- Issue detailed work orders specifying work to be performed on components
Component Documentation Review
- Advise the Airworthiness Manager on documentation accompanying components entering the warehouse
Maintenance Program Evaluation
- Annually evaluate the effectiveness of the Maintenance Program
Reliability Program Management
- Supervise the Reliability Program and reports
Aircraft Deliveries Management
- Manage deliveries and re-deliveries
Certification Support
- Support and management of Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC) & Extensions
Technical Analysis
- Weight and Balance Analysis, Equipment and Emergency Equipment List (EEL), and Layout of Passenger Accommodation (LOPA)
Major Assembly Control
- Major Assembly Control and Management
Subcontractor Oversight
- Supervision of CAMO Subcontracted Functions
REQUIREMENTS:
- Aeronautical Engineer or Aeronautical Technical Engineer degree
- Regulatory Knowledge: Necessary knowledge to handle and understand EASA regulations and technical documentation
- Knowledge of procedures as working tools
- Minimum "familiarization" level knowledge of aircraft and systems in area of specialization
- 2-5 years of experience in Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance environment and/or CAMO
- Experience with A320 & A330 is a benefit
