ABOUT THE ROLE

Giuseppi’s is one of Malta’s longest-established restaurants, with Chef-Patron Michael Diacono leading the kitchen for over 20 years. We are looking for a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team and help us deliver consistently high-quality Mediterranean food.

You will take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, preparing and presenting dishes to the standards set by the Head Chef, while keeping your section organised, well-stocked and impeccably clean. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, works well as part of a team and takes real pride in good food.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Prepare specific food items and meal components at your station.
Follow directions provided by the Head Chef or supervisor.
Work closely with the rest of the culinary team to ensure consistent quality and smooth service.
Keep your section safe, clean, sanitary and properly organised.
Stock and order supplies required for your section.
Improve food preparation methods and standards based on feedback.
Assist in other areas of the kitchen whenever required.
Ensure dishes are sent out simultaneously, to a high standard and in a timely manner.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with colleagues and guests.
Maintain high grooming and appearance standards appropriate to an open kitchen.
