Chef (Part Time)

Location: La Sorpresa Restaurant & Pizzeria, Bugibba

La Sorpresa is a traditional trattoria and pizzeria located in the heart of Bugibba. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a strong sense of teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard following traditional recipes
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen
• Collaborate with the kitchen team during busy shifts
• Follow HACCP and food safety guidelines
• Contribute to menu development and daily specials when needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a chef
• Based in Malta with immediate availability
• Resides nearby or has reliable transportation
• Skill Pass certification is required
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
• Knowledge of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine preferred

Working Hours:

• Flexible shifts available (including evenings and weekends)
