Credit Control Clerk

Job Title: Credit Control Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Control Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing overdue balances and ensuring timely payments.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase customers for overdue balances via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Prepare and send monthly statements and reminder letters to clients.
  • Identify and escalate potential problem accounts to management
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve payment issues.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required from time to time.

Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
  • Highly organized, flexible, and proactive.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in credit control or a related financial role is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Maltese


On-the-job training will be provided with further support during employment.
