Experienced Barista – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

As a Barista at Busy Bee, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, as well as creating an inviting environment for our guests. You will work with our team to ensure that every cup is made with care and precision, while maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the workspace. Your role will also involve educating customers about our coffee offerings and helping them discover new favorites.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, espresso-based beverages, teas, and other menu items with high attention to detail and consistency.
Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the espresso machine, grinders, and prep areas, ensuring that health and safety standards are met.
Educate customers about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles, offering personalized recommendations.
Assist in maintaining inventory, including restocking supplies and monitoring product levels.
Support the overall operation of the coffee shop, including opening and closing procedures, cleaning, and troubleshooting equipment.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, ensuring smooth communication and workflow.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new coffee offerings, and specialty techniques.

Educational and skill requirements

Previous experience as a Barista in a specialty coffee shop or café environment is preferred, but not required.
Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods, beans, and coffee culture.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in every cup.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
A positive attitude, willingness to contribute to the team, and eagerness to grow within the role.
