Finance Manager

G3 Group is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial future of a rapidly developing organisation.

Profile Overview

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Manager role supports the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records, compliance, and process improvements while overseeing specific operational areas and assisting in management reporting. The position provides oversight to certain finance sub-teams and ensures effective communication of updates to senior finance leadership.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Assisting in management accounts preparation and budget preparation including overseeing the Property company operations and assist in management accounts and reporting
  • Overseeing the Billing Team, including bi-weekly meetings, compiling update sheets, and reporting weekly to the Group Financial Controller and Financial Controller;
  • Overseeing the Creditors and Cashes Team processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance to control procedures;
  • Reviewing fixed assets reconciliation on a monthly basis;
  • Reviewing creditors and inter-company reconciliations;
  • Assisting in Overheads reviews with senior finance team and manage Overheads compliance: ensure addresses, proformas, and VAT numbers are collected and verified;
  • Reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Finance Team and identify areas for improvement in financial processes, systems, and
  • Managing Tax Credits and EU Funds processes, including timely applications and submissions and handling Investing in Skills claims and keeping abreast of any related tax credits/funding updates;
  • Supporting VAT, ECO tax returns and Intrastat reporting requirements;
  • Supporting current and future group restructuring and any regulatory changes ;
  • Handling MBR applications and submitting MBR documents;
  • Assisting in audits, board reports and other regulatory reporting
  • Work alongside the Financial Controller to identify and resolve departmental issues and gaps;
  • Any other tasks commensurate to the role.
Educational and skill requirements
  • Applicants must be in possession of a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Previous working experience as a finance manager especially in the hospitality industry will be considered as an asset.
  • Have strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
  • Be proficient in Excel
  • Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Have high attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity
  • Be proactive, results-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
