Financial Controller

As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team and support our expanding portfolio of restaurants and lifestyle concepts.

As Financial Controller, you’ll be a key partner in driving performance, ensuring compliance and delivering accurate and timely reporting across our diverse operations.

Job Role

  • Prepare accurate monthly management accounts to support performance reviews.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting.
  • Develop cash flow statements and financial reports as required.
  • Submit timely and accurate VAT returns.
  • Conduct financial analysis for new and ongoing business opportunities.
  • Oversee and strengthen internal financial control processes.
  • Act as primary contact for external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Monitor debtors and credit control procedures, reporting regularly to the Group CFO.
  • Support and supervise accounts staff in managing daily cash settlements and receivables.
  • Ensure compliance with group policies, accounting standards and fiscal regulations.
  • Propose and implement finance policies and process improvements.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team in line with Lifestyle Group values.

Job Requirements

  • ACCA qualification or equivalent (mandatory)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in hospitality or multi-entity operations
  • Excellent command of Excel, Word, and other MS Office tools
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (an asset)
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy, organisation, and initiative
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
