

Fire Fighter
Malta International Airport plc is looking for ambitious and energetic individuals who are passionate about the airport and who are willing to learn and be part of a high-performance culture. The following vacancy has arisen within the Fire & Rescue Department.
Main Responsibilities
- Fighting both aircraft and domestic fires and effecting rescues;
- Driving and operating all fire-fighting vehicles and equipment;
- Making use of breathing apparatus, ladders and work at heights; and
- Assisting in the handling of casualties and render first aid.
Requirements
- Be 21 years of age.
- Possess clean police conduct.
- Possess a valid driving license (Category C is considered an asset).
- Obtained ‘O’ Level qualification in Maltese, English, and Mathematics (Grades 1 to 5) or MCAST First Diploma.
The ideal candidate should:

- Be well-mannered and educated with an outgoing personality.
- Capable of working well within a team.
- Have the ability to work under pressure.
- Be able to work in adverse environmental conditions.
- Be computer-literate.
Driving License
Successful candidates who do not already possess a driving license Category C will be required to do so within the first year of employment.
