Food and Beverage Server
The Food and Beverage Server is a hospitality professional who takes orders, serves food and drinks, and ensures guests have a pleasant dining experience. They interact directly with customers, provide menu recommendations, and handle billing while maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Greeting guests and guiding them to their tables
- Presenting menus and explaining dishes, ingredients, or specials
- Taking food and beverage orders accurately
- Serving food and drinks in a timely and professional manner
- Checking on guests to ensure satisfaction and handle requests or complaints
- Setting up and clearing tables before and after service
- Processing bills and payments (cash, card, etc.)
- Maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and service stations
- Coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service
- Following hygiene and safety standards at all times
