Food & Beverage Attendant

Diar il-Bniet is a renowned restaurant and agritourism destination in Dingli, Malta, celebrated for its authentic Maltese cuisine and warm hospitality. We pride ourselves on offering a unique farm-to-table dining experience that highlights local produce, traditional recipes, and the rich heritage of Maltese food culture.

We are currently seeking Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team on both a full-time and part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a professional and welcoming manner
Present menus and provide detailed information on dishes, including seasonal produce and specialties
Take accurate food and beverage orders
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high service standards
Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
Assist with setting up and clearing tables
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant and service areas
Operate the POS system, including handling payments and end-of-shift cash closure
Support the team during events, functions, and culinary experiences

Educational and skill requirements

Food Handling License (Category B)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset but not essential
Positive attitude and strong team spirit
Interest in Maltese cuisine and local produce is preferred
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
