Food & Beverage Attendant

Diar il-Bniet is a renowned restaurant and agritourism destination in Dingli, Malta, celebrated for its authentic Maltese cuisine and warm hospitality. We pride ourselves on offering a unique farm-to-table dining experience that highlights local produce, traditional recipes, and the rich heritage of Maltese food culture.

We are currently seeking Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team on both a full-time and part-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Present menus and provide detailed information on dishes, including seasonal produce and specialties
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high service standards
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist with setting up and clearing tables
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant and service areas
  • Operate the POS system, including handling payments and end-of-shift cash closure
  • Support the team during events, functions, and culinary experiences
Educational and skill requirements
  • Food Handling License (Category B)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset but not essential
  • Positive attitude and strong team spirit
  • Interest in Maltese cuisine and local produce is preferred
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
