

General Maintenance / Handyperson
The General Maintenance / Handyperson is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and overall maintenance of GoBNB’s portfolio of short- and long-let residential properties. The role requires a hands-on, reliable individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work and ensuring properties are kept in excellent condition.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out general plastering and painting works

Perform basic plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repairs

Install, assemble, and repair furniture and fittings

Conduct property inspections and identify maintenance needs

Attend to general wear and tear across properties

Supervise and liaise with third-party contractors when required

Ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards
Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a maintenance or handyman role

Strong practical skills across multiple trades

Problem-solving and proactive approach to work

Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively

Good organisational and time-management skills

Fluency in spoken and written English
Other Requirements

Valid driving licence

Clean police conduct

Professional, reliable, and presentable manner
Position Scope
This role is operational in nature and reports to senior management. The position requires flexibility, initiative, and a strong sense of responsibility, as the Handyperson plays a key role in maintaining the quality and reputation of GoBNB’s properties.
