General Maintenance Worker

About Us:

Plaza Regency Hotels, ideally situated along Sliema’s scenic promenade, offers guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay with stunning sea views. To maintain our high standards, we are looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our team and assist with the upkeep of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
✔️ Troubleshoot and resolve minor maintenance issues efficiently to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
✔️ Carry out painting, carpentry, and general repair work as required.
✔️ Respond to urgent maintenance requests in a timely manner.
✔️ Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
✔️ Follow health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
✔️ Assist in setting up and maintaining fixtures, furniture, and hotel amenities.

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman, or similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
🔹 Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
🔹 Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
🔹 A proactive and hands-on approach to maintenance tasks.
🔹 Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
🔹 Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
🔹 Knowledge of health and safety procedures is an asset.
