  • Factory is based in China and selling to over 30 countries.

The Position

  • Based in Malta (San Gwann)
  • Frequent travelling required (Europe, USA, China)
  • Main goal is to build a strong, global network of distributors specifically for the company's most recent machine
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 17:30


Requirements

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5 years in a sales management position
  • Experience with the distribution network
  • Experience working in the Food & Beverage industry in a plus
  • Familiar with international business practices
  • Languages – fluent in English, French a plus
  • People person – good salesmanship, have empathy and able to help our distributors grow
  • Great organizational and communication skills


Duties

  • Maintain positive relationships with existing distributors by providing support, solve issues and set a win-win mindset
  • Create and animate a network of distributors
  • Build an eco-system of tools and resources to help distributors sell in their markets
  • Set up policies, train distributors and enforce rules to keep the network healthy
  • Find new customers, manage incoming leads from the company’s multiple marketing platforms
  • Collect, summarize, and analyze sales related data (KPI) to inform management and identify trends
  • Exceed the customers’ expectations and understand the industry dynamics
  • Meet and exceed sales objectives
  • Contribute to developing new products based on market needs
  • Understand the products and process, from product development and manufacturing to delivery
  • Be able to work in a dynamic environment and get along with different people
  • Prepare for and attend trade shows
  • Must think creatively, work efficiently and independently, be highly organized and have strong communication skills
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Follow up on collections and make sure customers pay on time
  • Make recommendations for overall improvement
