Hair Salon Assistant (Part Time)

Screen Salon is looking for a talented and professional Hair Salon Assistant to join the team. If you have a passion for hair artistry and a strong background in color techniques, this job is for you! Job Duties:

• Provide hair color services including coloring, highlights, and other color treatments
• Consult with clients to understand preferences and recommend the right treatments
• Apply hair color products with precision, ensuring client satisfaction
• Maintain knowledge of the latest hair coloring trends and techniques
• Provide aftercare advice and recommend suitable hair care products.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salon environment
• Assist with other salon services as needed, including washing, drying, and styling hair.
• Build strong relationships with clients to foster repeat business
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper handling of chemicals and color products

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Hair Colourist or similar role in a salon environment is desired.
• In-depth knowledge of hair color applications, color correction, and color theory
• Strong communication skills and ability to understand client needs
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of current hair color trends and techniques
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
