Assistant Financial Controller

As part of the growth of the db Group, we are looking for candidates to join the finance team for the position of Assistant Financial Controller – St. George’s Project. We are seeking candidates that are motivated and have great energy to work in a dynamic team.
The Job
Apart from the day-to-day, the Assistant Financial Controller will be preparing monthly cost reports and management accounts to allow the review of the company’s financial performance. Obtain necessary approvals from project managers, procurement, and project departments and ensure that costs are in line with the budget and project cost allocations. Assist with the finance operations, reconciliations, Reporting and analysis of financial data. Preparing of cash flows, VAT returns, and financial information relative to upcoming and existing projects. S/he will support the accounts staff with daily monitoring of settlements and accounts receivables and motivate and lead the members of the finance team on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in this field
- In the process of obtaining a qualification in Accountancy / ACCA qualification or equivalent
