HR Administrator
Hard Rock Hotel Malta is seeking an HR Administrator to support the Human Resources team, with a primary focus on work permit administration, HR documentation, and compliance with Maltese employment law.
This role supports the smooth running of HR operations by ensuring employee records, contracts, and work permit processes are managed accurately and in a timely manner. It is well suited to an HR professional with solid administrative experience who is comfortable handling core HR processes independently.
🚀 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the administration of work permit applications and renewals for non-EU employees, including documentation, submissions, follow-ups, and record keeping.
- Liaise with Jobsplus, Identity Malta, and other relevant authorities as required.
- Maintain accurate trackers and employee records, ensuring permit expiry dates and documentation are monitored.
- Prepare and administer employment contracts, addenda, and employee files.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes from an administrative perspective.
- Handle HR-related correspondence and respond to employee queries.
- Support compliance with Maltese employment law, internal HR policies, and statutory requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and data protection standards are consistently upheld.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an HR administration role.
- Practical experience with work permit administration in Malta.
- Good working knowledge of Maltese employment law.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems is an asset.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Maltese or other languages is an advantage.
- Professional, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
