HR Generalist
The HR Generalist will support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring that HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Maltese employment regulations, HR administration, recruitment, and experience handling work permits, Jobsplus processes, and third-country national (TCN) documentation.

Manage and support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding

Coordinate and process work permits, single permits, renewals, and TCN documentation

Handle Jobsplus procedures, including engagement/termination forms, vacancy listings, and compliance requirements

Assist with the recruitment process: job postings, screening, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding

Maintain HR records, employee files, and HR databases

Support payroll preparation by providing timely HR updates and documentation

Ensure compliance with Maltese labor laws, company policies, and industry standards

Assist in employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures

Support HR initiatives, training programs, and staff engagement activities

Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to all departments

Previous experience in an HR Generalist or HR Administrator role

Strong knowledge of Maltese employment law, Jobsplus, and work permit processes

Experience working with TCN documentation is essential

Excellent organisational and administrative skills

Strong communication skills in English (Maltese is an asset)

Proficient in MS Office and HR systems

Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
