HR Generalist
On behalf of our client, an established supplier, we are looking for an HR Generalist, to be based at their offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the full recruitment workflow, from drafting vacancy posts to reviewing applications, conducting interviews, preparing offers, and coordinating next steps with hiring managers
- Manages the entire onboarding journey, including document collection, contract preparation, employee introductions, and IT arrangements, while also handling all offboarding requirements
- Keeps personnel records, HR files, policies, and system permissions up to date, and ensures continuous alignment with GDPR standards
- Acts as the key HR liaison for both managers and staff, supporting smooth communication and approval processes
- Produces regular HR reports, monitors key performance indicators, and safeguards the accuracy of all reporting data
- Contributes to the preparation and tracking of the annual HR budget and supports planning for departmental workforce needs
- Coordinates employee training programmes, maintains attendance records, and gathers departmental training requests (Ermis)
- Handles work permit procedures, including applications, renewals, submissions, and communication with candidates or external representatives
- Assists with the administration and maintenance of employee benefit schemes
- Plans in‑house events, team activities, and supports initiatives that enhance employee engagement
- Manages relationships with HR‑related suppliers and oversees inventory, stationery, and general operational support
- Administers HR systems, adjusts user access levels, and collaborates with IT for system-related needs
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment practices, and GDPR requirements
- Fluent in Greek and English, in both verbal and written form
- Experience using HR systems, reporting tools, and MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
- Professional, discreet, and trustworthy when handling confidential information
