Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef looking to grow within a luxury hotel setting. You will assist the Executive and Senior Sous Chefs in delivering high-quality dishes across our restaurants and outlets, ensuring consistency, creativity, and efficiency.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations.

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard.

  • Maintain food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.

  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff as required.

  • Assist in menu development and contribute fresh ideas.

  • Ensure efficient stock management and cost control.

Educational and skill requirements
  • Culinary qualification or equivalent experience.

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen.

  • Passion for quality, teamwork, and innovation.

  • Fluent in English; Maltese is a plus.

  • Must be an EU citizen.
