Junior Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Junior Supervisor to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership potential, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high standards in food, beverage, and hospitality. The Junior Supervisor will support the management team in ensuring smooth daily operations while guiding and motivating team members to consistently provide outstanding service.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising daily floor operations to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Consistently monitor food, beverage, and service standards and provide feedback to team members.

  • Support in training, coaching, and motivating staff to achieve performance goals.

  • Act as the first point of contact for staff queries, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

  • Ensure team adherence to grooming, appearance, and service standards at all times.

  • Oversee staff schedules, breaks, and ensure adequate coverage during service.

  • Step in and perform operational duties (serving, clearing, running food, etc.) when required.

  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.

  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.

  • Promote upselling techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction.

  • Support management in stock control, daily reports, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

  • Assist in creating a positive and professional work environment for the team.

  • Any other duties deemed suitable by the Director & Supervisor.

Educational and skill requirements
  • Fluent in English (additional languages will be considered an asset).

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or senior service role within food & beverage.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.

  • Passion for hospitality, food, and beverage with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

  • Flexible and adaptable to operational needs.
