Marketing Coordinator

This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, results-driven and hands-on individual to join our team at Toy Magic.

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing marketing campaigns across multiple media channels.

This role is ideal if you are passionate about marketing, content creation, branding and digital communication whilst being curious and excited to work in the toy industry.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Developing and executing marketing campaigns: Write, schedule, manage posts, emails, automations, and workflows.
Optimise marketing systems and processes from top-of-funnel awareness through to customer acquisition.
Graphic design and developing marketing materials: Design creative content and resources for digital campaigns and website. Design creative printed marketing materials such as flyers, catalogues, in-store branding and other promotional materials.
Writing and editing marketing copy, for various channels such as social media, email, and website content.
Tracking KPIs and campaign performance: Weekly tracking of key metrics related to marketing activities, performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Such as website traffic, etc.
Coordinate with partners: External partners such as influencers, videographers and agencies. Coordinate marketing activities with other internal departments.
Video production: Coordinating and scheduling video content and production pipeline. Basic video editing skills a plus!
Managing the company's website: keeping the website fresh with new content, ensuring website functionality, coordinate online promotions.
Coordinating and executing events and brand collaborations, such as in-store promotions, etc.
Creating and managing project timelines to ensure that campaigns and initiatives are completed on time.

Educational and skill requirements

Strong communication and organisational skills – An essential part of your role will be to communicate with various internal team members and external partners. Hence, having good communication and organisational skills will ensure timely production of work to meet deadlines.
Creativity and Attention to Detail – This role involves a lot of creative thinking and attention to detail due to the nature of marketing processes.
Copywriting – Your written skills need to be excellent since you will be crafting several marketing campaigns.
Being tech-savvy – You must be comfortable using design tools like Photoshop / Illustrator or similar. Basic video editing skills such as with Capcut, experience with Meta Ads Manager and online marketing tools is considered a plus!
Being teachable and coachable – There will be a LOT of learning on the job as we do marketing very differently. We hire based primarily on attitude.
Being a self-starter – Goals will be clearly defined from the outset. Often, it will be your job to determine what needs to happen, when and how as a Coordinator. The attitude of continually starting things on your own is very important.
