Job Summary

The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations during the
overnight shift, ensuring guest satisfaction, and performing end-of-day financial
reconciliation. This role combines customer service, administrative accuracy, and
security awareness to maintain the hotel’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Services.
• Welcome late-arriving guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Handle check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and emergencies promptly.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve issues with discretion.
  

Audit & Reporting

• Reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare audit reports.
• Balance room revenue, food & beverage charges, and other hotel accounts.
• Generate and distribute daily management reports.
• Ensure accuracy of billing and resolve discrepancies.
  

Operations & Security

• Monitor hotel premises for safety and security during night hours.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for overnight tasks.
• Ensure lobby and public areas are tidy and presentable.
• Follow emergency procedures when necessary.
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel front desk or accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Opera ).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
