TTI is seeking an Operations Manager for one of our top clients. Our client is a leading feed manufacturing company based in Malta, specializing in the production of high-quality animal feeds for various livestock.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Oversee importation, storage, and inventory of raw materials and finished products
Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
Plan and manage daily feed production to meet quality and volume targets
Supervise plant operations, including production, maintenance, and distribution
Optimise processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs
Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure equipment reliability
Collaborate with QA to maintain feed safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Enforce hygiene, safety, and environmental standards across all operations
Lead and develop the operations team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
Monitor KPIs and report operational performance to senior management

Educational and skill requirements

Degree in a relevant field or minimum 5 years of managerial experience in production or plant operations
Strong knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, and maintenance processes
Experience in feed, food, or agri-processing industries preferred
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and quality management systems
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Financial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
Fluency in English; Maltese is an advantage
