Operations Officer – Premium Management

LifeStar Insurance are currently seeking an Operations Officer to join their Premium Management team.

The position is responsible to undertake a range of tasks within the Premium Management department related to premium collection and reconciliation to ensure the continuation of life insurance cover.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Processing of bank accounts
  • Processing and checking of Endorsements
  • Upload and reconciliation of payments
  • Assisting in the monitoring of arrears
  • Processing of payment refunds
  • Issuing of bill notices and reminders
  • Handling clients’ and brokers’ queries
  • Liaise between respective departments to make sure that processes are done in a timely manner
  • Ensure all customer information is correct
  • Inform clients of overdue payments and the amount currently owed
  • Updating and maintaining databases
Educational and skill requirements
  • Experience in a similar role or in Life Insurance is preferable however training on the job will be provided
  • Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • A positive attitude and a strong customer orientation
  • A team worker who is also capable of working with minimum supervision
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
