Plant and Maintenance Technician

Paradise Bay Hotel Limited in Malta is looking to recruit a Plant and Maintenance Technician to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Description:

• Carrying out technical corrective maintenance works in our rooms, plant rooms, and property in general
• Assist in other trades when required
• Pool testing/control of water quality
• Reporting/discussing any issues to the Maintenance Manager
• Carrying out preventive maintenance of plant equipment and installations
• Assisting in listing, sourcing, and acquiring parts needed for the smooth operation of plant equipment
• Regular monitoring of all equipment and installations
• To be very competent in electrical and mechanical plant maintenance
• Basic understanding of refrigeration and HVAC would be considered an asset

Requirements:

• MCAST qualification in electrical/mechanical engineering - technician or equivalent level
• Previous experience in the hotel industry is considered an asset
• Fluent in English - spoken and writing
• Able to work on own initiative and in a team
• Able to work evenings and weekends on a roster basis.
