Procurement Officer

AMSM is looking to recruit a Procurement Officer on a full-time basis within our Commercial Department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Calculating and placing orders with our suppliers
• Daily interaction with our suppliers to monitor the status of our orders and any issues that may arise
• Preparing and maintaining purchasing reports, records and updated price lists
• Calculating order costs and evaluating proforma invoices for accuracy
• Ensuring that the product inventory is always up to date
• Working closely with the Sales, Warehouse & Accounts Departments

YOUR PROFILE

• Advanced Level of Education
• Able to communicate well in English and Maltese.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – especially Microsoft Excel.
• Candidates with experience in a similar role will be given preference.
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills, organisation skills and able to work towards deadlines
