Reservations Agent

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reservations Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a seamless booking experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all reservations inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a professional and timely manner.
• Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations efficiently, ensuring accurate information is recorded in the system.
• Provide guests with detailed information regarding room types, rates, packages, and promotions.
• Work closely with the front desk and sales teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
• Resolve guest complaints and issues related to reservations promptly and courteously.
• Ensure all guest requests and preferences are noted and communicated to the relevant departments.
• Maintaining a positive inter-departmental flow of communication – particularly with the Front Office, Management and Finance teams
• Maintaining Online Travel Agency (OTA) and third-party extranets, reservations and messaging systems.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry would be preferred.
• Must possess excellent written communication and interpersonal skills in Maltese and English.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively.
• Proficiency in reservation software (preferably Opera) and Microsoft Office Suite.
