

Residence Manager Summer 2026
Join a global company with international exposure as a Residence Manager for Summer 2026! In this role, you’ll take responsibility for one of our student residences, ensuring everything runs smoothly and feels like a true home away from home. You’ll make sure rooms are ready and students are correctly allocated, serve as the main contact between students and residence staff, and prepare for arrival days to guarantee a warm welcome. You’ll also organize fun residence evenings and small activities to bring students together and build a friendly, inclusive community. What You'll Do:
- Oversee the onsite operation, serving as the key contact for students and staff.
- Work with the summer management team to provide an exceptional experience for our students and take overall responsibility for the residence.
- Manage room allocation and ensure harmony among site staff while addressing any maintenance and safety needs.
- Liaise with residence owners and staff on cleaning, themed events and safety protocols
- Organize activities and creating a positive social atmosphere.
- Share emergency phone duties on a rota basis
- Interact with a diverse group of staff and students daily, creating a welcoming environment
Who You Are:
- A team player who can take initiative and handle responsibilities naturally
- Outgoing with great attention to detail and the ability to cope well under pressure
- Has a strong sense of customer service and an approachable demeanour
- Able to stay calm in challenging situations and sensitive to the needs of international students
- Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Ideally have experience working with kids and teenagers.
- Proficient in English (C2 level preferred) and legally eligible to work in Malta (Maltese/EU passport)
Details:
- Duration: Contracts starting from end of May till August.
- Schedule: Full-time, 6-day work weeks on shift bases, including evenings and weekends.
- Safeguarding: All roles are subject to police conduct checks and character reference checks.
- Eligibility: Must legally be able to work in Malta with a Maltese or EU passport. Has a high level of English.
- Must be available for training dates before start date. Mandatory training will be happening sometime between the middle and end of May. Specific dates to come soon.
