We are currently looking for a Retail Branch Manager to work in our Pick and Go Outlet.
The Job
The Retail Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring excellent customer experiences while maximizing sales revenue. This role includes inventory management, supplier relations, staff training & performance, with a primary focus on floor presence to engage customers & drive sales.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning
- Manage inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or overstocking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers for timely deliveries and quality products
- Train staff on store procedures customer service standards and product knowledge
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances customer experience
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure the store meets sales targets and other key performance indicators
- Implement strategies to drive foot traffic & increase customer retention
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout
- Supervise cash handling and ensure adherence to financial procedures
- Analyse sales reports to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Manage staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage during business hours
- Uphold store policies and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Regularly review and update pricing to stay competitive in the market
- Stay informed on industry trends and recommend new products or services
- Report to COO on store performance and improvement plans
Job Requirement
· Experience working in a retail shop or a minimum of 2 years
· Attestable customer-service skills.
· To participate in Training and Development programs offered by the organisation.
· Willing to work on a shift basis and flexibility in working both weekends and public holidays.
