Sales Consultant
Oxford House, synonymous with the import and retail of home appliances, kitchens, home furniture, bedding and office solutions, is seeking to recruit the services of a Sales Consultant for its home appliances division.
The Sales Consultant is responsible for the consultancy and retail journey, exhibiting to the clients an offering, that meets and exceeds their expectations and exigencies.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Understand customer requirements and exigencies through active listening and by posing relevant questions.
- Provide guidance and recommendations based on customers’ preferences and budget requirements.
- Present accurate, detailed and attractive quotations.
- Negotiate and close sales transactions, efficiently and accurately, aiming to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Be actively involved in the upkeep of the showroom, following up on stock levels, while ensuring customer satisfaction is prioritised upon.
- Address clarifications required professionally, ensuring the response time is within standards established.
- Seek post quotation diligent feedback that allows for improved closure rates.
- Remain abreast with the ever-evolving industry trends, while garnering a high level of product knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Educational and skill requirements
Requirements:
- Fluency in both Maltese and English languages.
- Minimum of an Ordinary Level, standard of education.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft applications and Shireburn software are considered an asset.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
