SALARY: Market-Related Basic Plus Commission

An exciting opportunity now exists to join this renowned company on a permanent, full-time basis as a Sales Executive. The successful candidate will need to have a passion for weddings, parties, catering, and building long-term relationships with clients.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 Planning menus and assisting customers in selecting food items
 Issuing quotations and providing proper information, guidance, and support to the clients, therefore
enhancing relationships with the clients
 Upselling when appropriate
 Tracking and monitoring quotations issued and chasing prospective clients, as necessary
 Working on sales, follow-up activities, and maximizing profit
 Working within a team, collaborating with other departments, and achieving desired results
 Preparing and presenting reports
 Reporting to the management team
 Representing the business beyond the sales department by participating in trade shows, sales workshops, sales seminars, and tasting events on behalf of the business
 Taking advantage of the relationships and connections established to avidly represent the business, share its vision, increase awareness, and establish new relationships
 Identifying and developing new market opportunities for the business
 Staying up to date with the industry's best practices and standards by attending events and seminars, participating in individual and group training programs, and reading industry publications and newsletters
 Communicating acquired information to the sales department to maximize sales opportunities and keep the
department and the business on par with market leaders
 Partnering with the marketing department to ensure that strategies and objectives are aligned, supporting sales efforts, and aligning these strategies with the business's overall objectives
 Working closely with senior sales management in the creation of new sales strategies and approaches
 Performing other necessary duties in the execution of responsibilities and as delegated by superiors
