

Sales Executive
The Sales Executive leads strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, optimize key account relationships, and enhance the hotel’s brand positioning. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this role combines high-level commercial strategy with hands-on oversight of sales and marketing activities, ensuring alignment across departments and execution of innovative campaigns that maximize business performance.
Sales & Revenue Leadership

Drive revenue growth and business development across corporate, leisure, MICE, group, and travel trade segments.

Lead the management and expansion of key accounts, cultivating strong, strategic client and partner relationships.

Oversee client engagement, including site inspections, meetings, and familiarisation visits, ensuring proposals, contracts, and follow-ups align with commercial objectives and brand standards.

Provide insights and recommendations for sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and market strategies.

Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform executive-level decision-making.
Marketing & Brand Leadership

Strategically support execution of the hotel’s marketing and communications initiatives in line with Barceló brand standards.

Guide content creation for digital channels, social media, newsletters, and website platforms.

Oversee collaboration with agencies, suppliers, and internal teams for campaigns, photoshoots, and promotional activities.

Contribute to PR, partnerships, and brand visibility strategies.

Monitor key performance indicators to measure campaign effectiveness and commercial impact.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Representation

Collaborate with Revenue, Front Office, F&B, Events, Spa, and PR departments to ensure integrated commercial initiatives.

Represent the hotel at industry events, trade fairs, and networking functions to enhance brand presence and strategic partnerships.
Reporting & Commercial Insights

Ensure accurate and insightful reporting on sales activities, client engagement, and account performance within the CRM system.

Provide executive-level reports and strategic recommendations to the Director of Sales & Marketing and senior management to support data-driven decision-making.
Experience & Knowledge

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the hospitality or related service industry.

Strong understanding of the local market, tourism trends, and corporate/business environment.

Hands-on exposure to digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign execution is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to revenue growth, brand positioning, and commercial strategy.
