Salesperson (Maltese Speaking)
Avero Group is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson (Maltese Speaking) to join its team.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will be based in Malta and will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients, while also identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company’s customer network.
The role involves daily visits to Maltese customers, including supermarkets, retail outlets, hardware stores, mini markets, and petrol stations. In addition, the salesperson will conduct fortnightly visits to Gozo customers for one working day every two weeks.
The position includes order taking, merchandising, stock checks, promotional follow-ups, payment collections, and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
- Promote and sell the company’s product ranges, including:
o Small domestic appliances
o Kitchenware products
o Houseware items
o Car accessories
- Visit existing customers daily and maintain strong client relationships
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Visit supermarkets, mini markets, hardware stores, homeware outlets, electronics shops, and petrol stations
- Monitor shelf displays, stock levels, and product visibility
- Follow up on quotations, orders, promotions, and deliveries
- Follow up on payments and collections from customers
- Achieve agreed sales targets and KPIs
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth customer service and supply
- Conduct fortnightly visits to Gozo clients
- Maltese speaking is mandatory
- Fluent in English
- Valid driving licence
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Previous sales experience in retail, FMCG, distribution, appliances, houseware, or related industries will be considered an asset
- Self-motivated, organised, and target-oriented
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes efficiently
- Willingness to travel regularly across Malta and occasionally to Gozo
