Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Executive to join the Sales and Customer Care Freight Forwarding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming enquiries, preparing tailored quotes, and promoting the Company’s services to both existing and prospective clients. This role is ideal for someone with a dynamic and outgoing personality, eager to drive business growth within the seafreight sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Enquiries: Respond to incoming client enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring all requests are handled efficiently.
- Quotations: Prepare accurate and competitive quotes for the shipment of goods, reflecting the needs of clients and the Company’s service offerings.
- Sales Promotion: Actively promote and sell the Company’s freight forwarding services, building strong relationships with clients.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and share knowledge to support team objectives.
- Client Visits: Attend client meetings and site visits as required, representing the Company in a professional and approachable manner.
Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes
- Education: Minimum O-Level standard of education; ECDL or equivalent computer literacy preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales or customer service is an advantage.
- Driving License: Category B Malta driving license required.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English is required. The ability to communicate in Maltese would be an asset.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Interpersonal Skills: Outgoing personality with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Technical Skills: Competent in general computer applications and office software.
- Organisation: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple enquiries and priorities efficiently.
- Self-Motivated: Proactive and driven to achieve sales targets and support business growth.
- Problem-Solving: Able to address client needs and resolve issues with practical solutions.
