Senior SB Product Manager – Offering & Trading
Overview
The Senior Product Manager – Offering & Trading plays a pivotal role in shaping and enabling the evolution of Betsson’s Sportsbook (SB) product. This role focuses on discovering, analyzing, and preparing new product capabilities and improvements—working closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure that work items are clearly defined, validated, and aligned with Betsson’s strategic objectives before development begins.
As part of the core Offering & Trading Product team, this position will contribute to the long-term vision and competitiveness of our Sportsbook offering and trading capabilities, bringing clarity and structure to product initiatives and fostering cross-functional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Discovery & Refinement
- Drive product discovery efforts for new features, improvements, and capabilities across the SB domain.
- Contribute proactively with your own ideas and insights based on user behavior, data, and market trends, not only responding to stakeholder requests.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Tech, Design, Operations, and other stakeholders to explore problems, validate solutions, and define success criteria.
- Break down high-level ideas into actionable and well-scoped product initiatives.
- Define and document requirements, workflows, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Ensure all initiatives are clearly understood and meet Definition of Ready (DoR) before they are passed to delivery teams.
- Act as the bridge between strategic product thinking and the executional efforts of delivery streams.
- Monitor in-delivery items to ensure alignment with scope, requirements, and intended business value.
- Maintain visibility over delivery interdependencies and contribute to risk mitigation where relevant.
Strategic Contribution
- Partner with the Head of Product, Offering & Trading, and other senior stakeholders to contribute to the long-term product vision and roadmap.
- Support portfolio-level planning by ensuring discoveries are aligned with overall business and customer objectives.
Ways of Working & Process Evolution
- Support continuous improvement of discovery and intake processes, including refining methods for backlog management, scoping, and prioritization.
- Champion cross-team collaboration and foster a culture of product excellence and structured execution.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with demonstrated success in product discovery and pre-delivery preparation.
- Deep understanding of Sportsbook product ecosystems and customer needs within the industry.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to transform abstract ideas into tangible product plans.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator—comfortable engaging with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
- Technical background (preferably B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field).
- Self-driven, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving product landscape.
