Shift Leader

Location: La Sorpresa Restaurant & Pizzeria, Bugibba

La Sorpresa is a busy and well-established trattoria and pizzeria in the heart of Bugibba. We are looking for a proactive and dependable Shift Leader to help oversee daily operations and ensure excellent guest experiences during service. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in hospitality leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate front-of-house or back-of-house operations during assigned shifts
• Ensure service standards are maintained across all areas
• Support staff, resolve any guest concerns, and step in where needed
• Monitor workflow, delegate tasks, and ensure team efficiency
• Conduct opening and closing procedures
• Communicate effectively with management and team members

Requirements:

• Currently based in Malta
• Resides near Bugibba or has reliable transportation
• Skill Pass certification is required
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role in hospitality
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Able to remain calm under pressure and manage shift priorities

Working Hours:

Part-Time: Evening and weekend shifts available
