

Shift Supervisor
This position contributes to Starbucks’ success by leading and supporting a team of Baristas to deliver legendary customer service. As a Shift Supervisor, you help create the Starbucks Experience by ensuring high-quality beverages and products, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and supporting operational excellence. You model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

What a Starbucks Shift Supervisor Does:
A Starbucks Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily store operations during their shift, supporting team members, and ensuring the highest levels of customer service. You will manage multiple priorities, solve problems as they arise, and foster a positive and productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the team during shifts to ensure excellent customer service.
- Support Baristas in preparing beverages and food products according to Starbucks standards.
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization.
- Ensure operational policies and procedures are followed, including cash handling, safety and security guidelines.
- Assist with training, coaching, and developing team members.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently.
- Support inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Monitor shift performance and contribute to achieving store KPIs.
- Foster a positive team environment and recognize individual and team achievements.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in hospitality or food & beverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to follow all sanitation, health and hygiene standards.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is highly desirable.
No previous Starbucks experience is required; full training will be provided.
