
Software Implementation Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Software Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment and configuration of our software solutions for clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation of our payroll and HR software solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their business processes, configure the system to their needs and ensure a smooth and successful go-live.
This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication, a strong understanding of HR/payroll workflows and a passion for delivering outstanding service. This position also provides the opportunity to work with the latest IT and AI-driven technologies, giving you exposure to innovative tools and methodologies shaping the future of HR and payroll.
- Lead implementation projects for clients from initial setup through to go-live.
- Analyse client business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Configure and customise the software to meet client needs.
- Conduct testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of software workflows during the implementation phase.
- Develop implementation plans, timelines and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including product, support and development.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the software and its capabilities
- Document client configurations and provide a seamless handover to the support team post go-live.
- 2+ years of experience in software implementation, HRIS/Payroll systems or business systems analysis.
- Strong project coordination and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data import/export, Excel functions, and basic system testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, Software Information Systems or Business Administration or a similar IT qualification would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of payroll legislation (e.g., tax, NI, FS3s) is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in both Maltese and English is required.
- Keen interest in emerging technologies, particularly AI applications in HR and payroll solutions.
